Birthday (free) 02:50
What if I, what if I sank? If this ship spun ‘round in turbulent waters and ran aground? What if you, what if you ran? Just like your father did and my mother did, did it help them understand? I am reserved with my words around you. I am extremely happy I found you. What if we, what if we work? What if we achieve all our wildest dreams, will we still want for more? Babies, bonnets, kitchens and fences; Family dinners and dances, In a well made cottage house. Berlin, Poznan, Galway and home We create wherever we roam - A comfortable living. But if we, when we fight, We push away all our hopes and dreams and I can not sleep at night. Kiss my brow, let us make up; Why should we let this take up A precious piece of our time? Babies, bonnets, kitchens and fences; Family dinners and dances, In a well made cottage house. Berlin, Poznan, Galway and home We create wherever we roam - A comfortable living.

Silver lining upon the tops, How I’ve caught you in my thoughts We lay for hours and talk about stuff While the clouds drift by. Well it’s alright now while you court me As long as you don’t tell no-one Cause I’ve got a man at home whom I love. You are 17 going on 18 and baby it’s time to stop. Cause I am 23 going on 24 and I can do you harm. Well it’s alright now while you court me As long as you don’t tell no-one Cause I’ve got a man at home whom I love. At home…. Whom I love… Well it’s alright now while you court me As long as you don’t tell no-one Cause I’ve got a man at home whom I love.

Buttermouth 03:17
Buttermouth with your ambiguous tongue Look at all we could have undone. Now we sew ourselves tightly, we’re bound Forgiven sins buried deep in the ground. And I’ll not speak a word of you… A deep effect with a paper-thin guise Considered truth is the sweetest demise. I was bent back to become your guitar You traced my contours, I raised the bar. And I’ll not think a thought of you… I don’t ache, but I yearn to be held You’re the devil, I’m the wheel of the world. Once a queen, once a poor beggar’s wife. You’ll taste my honey maybe, not in this life. And I’ll not feel the whole of you… I’ll not see the best in you…

Leagues 03:35
As I lept down the path to the broken road on the left, a woman scowled. Dreary-eyed and overfed, I’m a bumbling balloon looking forward to flying away. But today is much finer than I thought it would be. You’re the boy, leagues away, holding onto me, like a memory. Ooooh… White lines in the sky remind me that I’m on my way. Weighed down by gifts I thought I’d be much lighter by what I gave away, But is seems, the world is intent on holding me down. You’re the man I dream of when all the other boys hang around. Ooooh… Fine as a fish in an inky green pool with ducklings astray. There’s fear hiding in the cracks of the walls, unsettled by trams that make, the blocks shake and sway. And I know as I go further from you day by day, we get close. You’re the one with whom which I would experience the most, With new weight I will come comfort you in our, cold southern land, Then next year, we’ll float away together and… Ooooh…

Grief 04:07
I'll grate on you in your quiet times; you know where your heart should lie. Go will ye something I can hold up to the light and it cast a clear shadow. Oooh... Your struggles pull asunder, the tender heights you reached at noon. And with this spell you're under, you seek and find the sorcerer is you. Reach for the stars little one, Your grief runs so deep you are blind to its bloom in you. The fear you're feeling gives away, to honest truth and this I crave. So bear your cross and do not hide, remember love's worth more than pride. There's nothing can provide you an easy path to let loose. Seven red stars burn through, all that you ask for them to. Reach for the stars little one, Your grief runs so deep you are blind to its bloom in you... La di da, dat da....

Chameleon 03:05
Don’t be so certain, you have a promise from me You chameleon have used your words to deceive. Bringing down mountains by using all of my tears, If a drought comes, however shall we survive fruitless yields. Oh, oh faith how I wish, I had a rock on which to build a bridge. Oh, love, take steed and shine, I’ll not give you answers; I’ve already given you plenty of time. Ska da du da… We’re trapped in such feeling that cause us to stray. True love is chosen most every day. I refuse to give in to a whim of lust. I’ll patiently hand you over if you must. Oh, oh faith how I wish, I had a rock on which to build a bridge. Oh, love, take steed and shine, I’ll not give you answers; I’ve already given you plenty of time. Ska da du da…

Chocolate 03:20
You are the way, I choose to betray myself The pain is addictive Why else should I feel like this. You are the way, that I choose to torment myself. I was how you strayed, How far from the path are you? How could I ever feel this was innocent? Just because I crave, don’t ever mean I need this. I want my cake and eat it. My porridge and my chocolate. But honey does not stay, on a ravenous tongue for very long. You sated something in me, but I know I’ll grow more hungry. How could I ever feel this was innocent?... It’s not so bad. I’ve got my husband, you have your wife; This is life. How could I ever feel this was innocent?

In Your Name 03:51
My father gave me a tower for silence and respite, My mother gave me silken thread that I could sew all day and night. They knew that with your leaving I’d need the space to rest, And failing that a place to be a lady at her best. I’ll hold you in my thoughts like an egg in a warm nest, Until finding you’ve returned, having finished with your quest In my name… Ohhh I caught you in the summertime a knight with shining skin, And made a sash embroided with the love we did begin. It’s clear that in your leaving nothing would be the same And here wait I In your name… Ohhh They say of me I’m trapped, by a wicked hag. They call my name ask for my hair and of their conquests brag. A few have been near worthy, I even let them in But nothing can compare them with the beauty of your skin. My love for you is endless and so’s this knightly game, And I blinded one intentionally In your name…

I’m a car, did a U-turn on a long country road My headlights are searching for you. Put my foot in my mouth, I tried to let it all out It’s not clear what I had to loose. Now I’m cringing at my image in the rear-view; That I could wash myself anew. I doubt I can change, I still ask you again: Put your back into it boy… And love me: cause you really do. Force me: cause I like it. Be real with me: be still, be silent.

I guess my love has no sunset clause. I’ll not forget it’s not the same with yours. You cleft me right to me padded paws, I’m a frightful sight tonight. You swept me up like a hunting owl. I bear my teeth, but I like the challenge. I’m out of sorts and you’re way out of town. We’re a frightful sight, tonight. Resisting as we howl at the moon Even as the dusk’s creeping in Seems there’s not a thing we can do Enchantment’s creeping into our skins. In the daylight, human and right But then in the dark of the night Fur and feathers come into sight Wildly our hearts they delight. It’s unbecoming, the whole truth of this. It’s all I can do to resist your kiss. You took my seal skin now I’m all amiss. We’re a frightful sight tonight. I’ve heard it said, though it seems quite strange You’ve nature’s power if you call her name I cried so many but I’m still the same We’re a frightful sight tonight. Resisting as we howl at the moon Even as the dusk’s creeping in Seems there’s not a thing we can do Enchantment’s creeping into our skins. In the daylight, human and right But then in the dark of the night Fur and feathers come into sight Wildly our hearts they delight. I guess my love has no sunset clause. I’ll not forget, it’s not the same with yours. You cleft me right to me padded paws, I’m a frightful sight tonight.

Lullabies 03:20
Lullabies and fairytales Tell me that my heart doth fail Even as I try to be All I can for thee. I had lost my merry way And you brought me home again Hold me to my very word I have heard, you…

about

I have waited so long to be able to offer this to you all!

It was so wonderful working with Mikael H (www.mikaelh.net) again as the producer in Pink Noise Studios, Finland. We started work on the bare bones of it in the middle of 2008 before a touring Europe together, so it has been brewing for some time.

The physical release is a limited run - the first edition only of 80 pieces. The artwork for the album was created by Dana Engfer. You can see more of her work here: www.danaengfer.de

This online version comes exclusively with the hand-drawn, stop-motion video clip Dana made for the song Easter Saturday.

Thank you for your support!
Enjoy.
